The Miscellaneous Abhidharma Heart Treatise, also called the Miscellaneous Heart Treatise, is an Abhidharma treatise traditionally recorded as composed by the Venerable Dharmatrāta and translated by Saṅghavarman and others of the Liu Song dynasty. This treatise expands and reorganizes the Abhidharma Heart Treatise and is an important document of Sarvāstivāda scholasticism. Its contents develop topics such as classification of dharmas, causes and conditions, karma, afflictions, wisdom, and meditation, reflecting the analytical methods of sectarian Buddhism toward the experiential world and stages of cultivation. This item is a fragmentary scroll of Volume Eleven. The edition title identifies it as one of the Jin-block printed Buddhist canons from Guangsheng Monastery in Zhaocheng, making it useful for observing the layout of Jin-printed Buddhist texts, the preservation status of fascicles, and the transmission of Abhidharma literature.
