OpenSutra The currently published fascicles of this work have been organized under "Yongle Northern Canon / Local Writings"; image sources and catalogue numbers are listed in each fascicle record. It can be provisionally regarded as a Buddhist treatise, and typically has value for intellectual history, sectarian history, and the circulation of editions. The value of Buddhist treatise literature often lies in preserving the interpretive traditions of particular authors, sects, or eras. Here, the readable fascicles of "The Scripture of the Names of All Buddhas, World-Honored Ones, Tathagatas, Bodhisattvas, Venerable Ones, and Divine Monks, forty volumes" are gathered according to the original catalogue order, suitable for consulting by volume number, catalogue number, thousand-character volume number, or title.
